Manitoba is experiencing its largest measles outbreak in decades. Having a single, visual, map-based reference for exposure locations and vaccination data helps people quickly understand the geographic scope and severity of the outbreak.
The official Manitoba Health exposure page is a series of tables. This site plots that same data on a map and adds context through charts showing case trends, vaccination coverage, and severe outcomes.

Data is automatically pulled from Manitoba Health sources daily. The "last updated" timestamp on every page reflects the most recent data pull.
Case data on the Manitoba Health page is updated Fridays. Exposure locations are updated as they are identified, typically every few days.
Manitoba Measles Map is a one-person project built by a full-time student. The exposure data on the government website is buried in tables with no notifications, no map, and no easy way to check if the places you visit are on the list. This site exists to fix that.
The site itself is free to host, but the SMS and email alert system costs real money to run. Every text message and every email adds up. Right now that comes out of a student budget.
